Welcome to the Class Administrator User's Guide. Class Administrator is an electronic gradebook program. It can be used as a standalone program and it can also be used with EduConnect's School Administrator program to create official report cards. For more information about School Administrator, go to EduConnect's web site. Class Administrator includes two types of report cards; one for letter or percentage grading and one for outcomes based grading.

Class Administrator contains macros that automate many tasks for the user. To use the program, the Security level for Macros must be set to Medium. To set this option, open Microsoft Excel, go to Tools|Macros|Security and set the level to Medium. When starting the Class Administrator program, a window will pop up asking if you want to Enable Macros. You must enable macros to use the program.

There are numerous forms used for executing menu commands. Most of the forms are self-explanatory. If there are questions about using the forms, go to the topic for the menu command in this User Guide for information on how to use the form. Forms can be closed by clicking the appropriate button on the form or by clicking the X in the upper right hand corner of the form.
