Windows 2000/XP Professional or 2000 Server
Windows 2000 and XP Professional come with the Internet Information Services 5.0 web
server as part of the operating system. You can check to see if IIS5.0 is
installed by going to the Control Panel and clicking on the Administrative
Tools folder. If the Internet Services Manager is present, then it is
installed.
If IIS5.0 is not installed, you can
install it by going to the Control Panel and clicking on Add/Remove
Programs, then click on the Add/Remove Windows Component link. Make sure
that you include the FrontPage 2000 Server Extensions when installing
IIS5.0. Click on details and make sure the box in front of FrontPage 2000
Server Extensions is checked. You will
probably need your system CD to complete the installation.
You should also install the latest Windows
2000 updates to make sure you have the latest security patches installed
